Finally, as much anticipation in the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Internazionale de Milan finally achieved glory with a victory 2 - 0 over Bayern Munich with Diego Milito as the star of the two goals. Jose Mourinho's defensive and offensive system worked effectively to bring down his teacher, Louis Van Gaal, while Bayern tried in every corner and every side waiting for Inter to make a defensive mistake. Inter's defensive and offensive tactics worked perfectly because throughout the game, Inter lacked in fabricating shots on target and little counter attacks towards Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich missed very much the absence of Frank Ribery, which he was suspended for the final in Madrid. Internazionale de Milan now completes a perfect season, winning the Italian Cup against A.S. Roma, reigning champion of the Serie A in Italy, and now obtaining the Champions League title, representing the UEFA in the Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

Jose Mourinho laid his team as he usually does, control the ball and to build a wall from the midfield to the defense to control any spaces that Bayern Munich tried to pass through. With this tactical system, Bayern Munich was very erratic in their way of playing and kept waiting for a defensive mistake, in which Inter's defense was very attentive of their rival. Javier Zanetti's and Esteban Cambiasso's control of the defensive midfield was very effective because both of them were unstopable. But what was very interesting was Samuel Eto'o's position because he rarely appeared for the attack, just in two occassions because according to Mourinho's system, Eto'o acted more as a midfielder going back always and Maicon was more of the center forward.

Wesley Sneijder and Arjen Robben were the most effective in Inter and Bayern Munich's attack respectively because of their many shots on target and their constant struggle to put a goal through free kicks that it frustrated both players. Inter's Julio Cesar was the most inspiring goalie in the game stopping every single shot from Bayern Munich, this will show that the goalkeeper will succeed in South Africa.

Inter de Milan therefore is crowned with the title upon the thousands of fans that supported the team in the stadium that practically looked like it was Inter's home that stunned the team morale in winning this tournament. I would have liked that Bayern Munich to win, but the team was very ineffective and they never deciphered Inter's defense waiting for a miracle of a defensive mistake, but at the end it seemed that Bayern Munich gave up, but it definitely showed that they missed Frank Ribery's absense because Miroslav Klose and Mario Gomez seemed to be disappeared in the field.

So Congratulations Internazionale de Milano, you deserve the respect from the world as champions. P.S. Jose Mourinho will leave happy to Real Madrid.
