F. C. Internazionale di Milano: Eternal Italian Champion

Finally, as much anticipation in the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Internazionale de Milan finally achieved glory with a victory 2 - 0 over Bayern Munich with Diego Milito as the star of the two goals. Jose Mourinho's defensive and offensive system worked effectively to bring down his teacher, Louis Van Gaal, while Bayern tried in every corner and every side waiting for Inter to make a defensive mistake. Inter's defensive and offensive tactics worked perfectly because throughout the game, Inter lacked in fabricating shots on target and little counter attacks towards Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich missed very much the absence of Frank Ribery, which he was suspended for the final in Madrid. Internazionale de Milan now completes a perfect season, winning the Italian Cup against A.S. Roma, reigning champion of the Serie A in Italy, and now obtaining the Champions League title, representing the UEFA in the Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

Jose Mourinho laid his team as he usually does, control the ball and to build a wall from the midfield to the defense to control any spaces that Bayern Munich tried to pass through. With this tactical system, Bayern Munich was very erratic in their way of playing and kept waiting for a defensive mistake, in which Inter's defense was very attentive of their rival. Javier Zanetti's and Esteban Cambiasso's control of the defensive midfield was very effective because both of them were unstopable. But what was very interesting was Samuel Eto'o's position because he rarely appeared for the attack, just in two occassions because according to Mourinho's system, Eto'o acted more as a midfielder going back always and Maicon was more of the center forward.

Wesley Sneijder and Arjen Robben were the most effective in Inter and Bayern Munich's attack respectively because of their many shots on target and their constant struggle to put a goal through free kicks that it frustrated both players. Inter's Julio Cesar was the most inspiring goalie in the game stopping every single shot from Bayern Munich, this will show that the goalkeeper will succeed in South Africa.

Inter de Milan therefore is crowned with the title upon the thousands of fans that supported the team in the stadium that practically looked like it was Inter's home that stunned the team morale in winning this tournament. I would have liked that Bayern Munich to win, but the team was very ineffective and they never deciphered Inter's defense waiting for a miracle of a defensive mistake, but at the end it seemed that Bayern Munich gave up, but it definitely showed that they missed Frank Ribery's absense because Miroslav Klose and Mario Gomez seemed to be disappeared in the field.

So Congratulations Internazionale de Milano, you deserve the respect from the world as champions. P.S. Jose Mourinho will leave happy to Real Madrid.

Internazionale di Milano and Bayern Munich, both reigning champions in their countries' leagues respectively will host the unanticipated final of the year. Both teams have managed all their way from the group stage to the final stage to achieve the highest glory in Europe. Both Inter and Bayern Munich will have alot to talk about before, during, and after the game because of their way that has shown the world how soccer is meant to be played. Not only Inter and Bayern Munich will display their different systems to how to play the game, the tactics that both Louis Van Gaal and Jose Mourinho have brought to the field. This final will also demonstrate the ability of how the teacher, Louis Van Gaal has taught his fair student, Jose Mourinho in being successful soccer coaches in their respective teams.

Louis Van Gaal and Jose Mourinho met during the times from 1997 - 2000 in Barcelona F.C. when Van Gaal was picked to be Barcelona's head coach. Jose Mourinho was the translator for Van Gaal shortly because of his inability to understand the Spanish language very much. Jose Mourinho's ability to study their rivals amazed Van Gaal because he was very well informed of their rivals. Mourinho was then shown to many as Louis Van Gaal's shadow because he was then comprehesive on his discipline and tactics of defense and attack offensively to the rival. With this code, Mourinho's takeover of Porto in 2004, winning the Champions league, and two leagues with Chelsea in 2005 and 2006, and the last resort to Italy's Internazionale, 2009 and 2010.

Van Gaal's success with Bayern Munich is now marked an icon among German fanatics because of his ability to pull the team's morale and become champions in the Bundesliga and the German Cup. Van Gaal is not new at these finals because he then coached in 1995 to Ajax of Holland and led to the winning title against A.C. Milan, Inter's eternal rival. With this Champions League final, this will be the third time a manager handled to win the title with two different teams, with Austrian interational Ernst Happel with Feyenoord in 1970 and Hamgurg in 1983 and German coach Ottmar Hitzfield with Dorthmund in 1997 and Bayern Munich in 2001.

Madrid is going to be the party to be because the country will be hosting the UEFA Champions League 2010 Final. Bayern Munich players arrived Friday for the crucial game against Internazionale de Milano in which will decide the reigning champion that will represent UEFA in the Club World Cup. Bayern Munich and Internazionale are the two strongest teams in Europe with two titles obtained in the past weeks. Internazionale won the Scudetto for the third time and won the Copa Italia 1-0 against A.S. Roma. Bayern Munich on the other side won the Bundesliga and The Germany Cup gloriously winning against Werder Bremen.

Arjen Robben will command Bayern Munich's dangerous attack. Robben is surely to come back to Madrid after a struggling past with Real Madrid. Robben left the season due to the arrival of Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, who brought along many stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka. On the italian hand, Internazionale striker Samuel Eto'o also comes back to Madrid in reminiscing his past with Barcelona F.C., in which he assisted in two finals in 2006 and 2009 against Arsenal and Manchester United respectively.

This final on the other hand will be surely be Jose Mourinho's last as Internazionale's coach, rumors are speculating that he will leave to Real Madrid to coach in replacement of Chilean coach Manuel Pellegrini. This final will determine the strength and power of these two popular teams in Europe. Bayern Munich's defense is very solid leaded by Martin Demichelis and Inter's defense with Javier Zanetti, which he got booted out of the Argentinian national team for South Africa's World Cup. Louis Van Gaal's team has dramatically changed in a year because at the beginning of the season, Bayern Munich was in the eight place, they will make the big surprise what do you think will be the Champion? please comment.

2010: A New Year and A New Era

So it has been a long time since Ive been doing a blog and to be honest what I think is that there are some changes in here that I'm willing to make. I did a successfully semester at St. Thomas University and also congratulating the class of 2009 - 2010 for graduating. But in other news, focusing on the 2010 South Africa FIFA World Cup in less than 25 days. The most popular news today is that Argentinian coach Diego Armando Maradona called the 23 players he will be taking to South Africa leaving Internazionale de Milan defender Javier Zanetti and midfielder Esteban Cambiasso. This "change" that Maradona is critical because they need players with experience and push the younger argentinian players for a better motivation to do good in the World Cup.

Besides Maradona bringing along Messi and 5 other forwards: Gonzalo Higuain from Real Madrid a good player with speed and good potential this season in La Liga, Carlos Tevez from Manchester City in which he redeemed himself from the Manchester United fans in doing a fantastic season at Manchester City, Sergio Aguero had a regular season at Atletico de Madrid in which they won the Europa League Cup, Martin Palermo appearing in his first World Cup at his 36 years of age and doing a not so good season at Boca Juniors and Diego Milito doing a fantastic season at Inter de Milan playing against Bayern Munich for the UEFA Champions League. Maradona has some time left in which he is going to put the starting lineup team for the World Cup with a "clear mind at the World Cup" leaving certain criticisms in what he is going to do at Argentina's first game against Nigeria.
